Session Descriptions:

RU CAREER READY! (Transfer Students)

Ready, Set, Go!  Graduation will be here before you know it.  Find out all of the tools and programs available to you to help perfect your resume, sharpen your interviewing skills, expand your network  and become Career Ready.  This session will also explore internships and graduate school planning.

GETTING CAREER READY!  College is not just about going to class.  From an employer’s point of view, what you do outside the classroom can be just as important as what you do inside.  During this session presented by the Career Center, you will find out what you can do outside of the classroom to help you make good career decisions with an emphasis on Rutgers Internship Programs.

Performing at Your Peak
An interactive session that will explore the obstacles that hinder students from obtaining their “peak” academic performance including lack of exercise, excessive stress, alcohol/drug use, emotional difficulties and procrastination.  This session will provide an opportunity to talk with current students who have found ways to navigate the system at Rutgers-Camden and take advantage of the services offered.

Finding Your Purpose
This presentation will focus on leadership skills, intrinsic abilities, grit, reaching higher and being driven.  It will provide real life success stories with challenges and opportunities.  It will also touch on civic engagement and service.

We will end the day with food trucks, activities, giveaways, and over 80 vendors.  During the fair, you will be able to interact with student clubs & organizations, greek organizations, staff, departments, and a number of local vendors
