The Rutgers-Camden Athletic and Fitness Center offers 75,000 square feet of space & boasts top-of-the line cardio and strength-training equipment, a resistance pool, team locker rooms, and a recreation program space for yoga, spinning, and Pilates. Rutgers–Camden is an NCAA Division III school that offers 16 sports programs. In the past decade, Rutgers–Camden Athletics has celebrated an NCAA National Championship, an ECAC Metro title, an NJAC Championship, and 14 All-American athletes.
The University District Bookstore serves as the campus bookstore for Rowan University-Camden, Camden County College, and Rutgers University-Camden. Students can buy, rent, and sell their textbooks, purchase graduation regalia, and purchase Rutgers University – Camden merchandise.
The primary mission of the Campus Center and Conference Services Office is the development of the full person. As employees, students are afforded the opportunity to work as cashiers, office workers, clerks, coffee shop baristas, student graphic designers, dining and catering employees, and building managers. While some students choose to work as a part of campus center operations, others volunteer and contribute to planning activities for the benefit of fellow students. The Career Center at Rutgers University-Camden provides a comprehensive career development program for students and alumni, servicing the College of Arts & Sciences, School of Business, University College, School of Social Work, The Graduate School and Joint Degree Program Candidates. Rutgers University-Camden's Career Center hosts a number of workshops and career/internship fairs throughout the semester, so be on the look-out for announcements!
The Office of Civic Engagement connects Rutgers University–Camden to communities beyond the campus. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Office of Academic Advising assists students with all their academic needs from the time they are accepted until graduation. Advisors provide guidance to undecided students as well as to those pursuing admission to business, engineering, and nursing majors. Services are also available for International students who are studying on F and J visas. Individual advising appointments are available for choosing a major or minor, selecting courses, discussing graduation requirements and explaining Degree Navigator, the university’s on-line degree audit program.
The mission of Rutgers University Computing Services is to provide university-wide leadership in Information Technology and quality Information Technology services in support of the University's mission of instruction, research, and service. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) works closely with faculty, senior administrators, the university's key stakeholders and users of computer technology in developing policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
Dean of Students
The Dean of Students is responsible for helping to ensure the quality of life for the student experience by acting as an advocate for students, providing a safety net for students by acting as liaison and mediator for key university offices: Residence Life; the Registrar; Financial Aid and Bursar; Academic Services, advisers, academic departments and units; University Counsel; RUPD; Student Activities, Campus Center, Greek Life; Health Services; student organizations, Learning Resource Center; Disability Services and Veterans Affairs.
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) provides students with confidential advising and accommodation services in order to allow students with documented physical, mental, and learning disabilities to successfully complete their course of study at Rutgers University – Camden. The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program serves highly motivated first-generation students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds in New Jersey by providing access to higher education and the services and opportunities to achieve success in college and beyond. International Student Services
The Office of International Students (OIS) is committed to providing quality advising services and supportive programming to our international population. The goal of the OIS is to support your academic success by helping you navigate the challenges you encounter as an international student.
The Rutgers-Camden Learning Abroad program is an alternative opportunity to a traditional semester or yearlong study abroad program. Each year, the Learning Abroad program sponsors between five and ten courses, working with academic departments and individual faculty members to extend the work of the classroom into a first-hand experience of cultural life outside the United States.
The Rutgers-Camden Learning Center is dedicated to the academic assistance of the Rutgers University student population. We offer a wide range of services such as: Individual course content tutoring, Peer led Review Sessions, Academic coaching and learning assistance for students with learning disabilities, Planning, organizing and writing papers, Weekly Academic Support and Study Skill Workshops and more!

Office of New Student Programs
The Office of New Student Programs facilitates the transition, adjustment and connection of first-year and transfer students to our campus community. All student parking permits are in effect from August 31 to August 31. In order for students to use any campus parking facility, they must purchase & obtain a valid parking permit. For more information about which permit is best for you, please visit the Parking Services website.
The Paul Robeson Library maintains collections of materials that support undergraduate and graduate instructional course work, assignments, and degree-related research on the Camden Campus. Robeson Library hosts a circulation desk, reference area and large computing station on its main floor. The library has a number of outlets for communication, including instant messaging, Facebook & Twitter!

The School of Business Academic Services Office's goals are to support all students in the pursuit of educational, career and personal goals and to assist students in the creation of the conditions which will lead to their optimal performance.
School of Nursing
The SNC has a four-year baccalaureate program leading to a bachelor of science degree in nursing. The dynamic nursing curriculum integrates nursing knowledge and the acquisition of nursing practice skills with courses from the natural and social sciences, liberal arts, and the humanities. With this broad educational foundation, students can better understand the various dimensions of the individuals, families, and groups they will care for as nursing professionals and come to value the lifelong learning expected of them.
Rutgers University Student Health Services is designed to provide health care for Rutgers students. The variety of services offered include: Drug & Alcohol counseling, Health Promotion, Psychological Services, Contraceptive & Sexual Health Counseling, Preventative Health Screenings, Physical Examinations and more. The central mission of the TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) program at Rutgers-Camden is to provide enhanced academic and other support services to undergraduate students who are low-income, first-generation and students with disabilities. The goal of SSS is to increase retention and graduation rates among its participants. Ultimately, SSS strives to maximize the benefits of a college education for its participants, positioning them to graduate in a timely manner and exit the university well-equipped for continued success.
The University Police department at Rutgers-Camden consists of 23 full-time police officers, over 70 security officers, and four dispatchers. The campus is patrolled 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on foot, on bicycle, and in cars and the campus is also monitored by security cameras. Emergency phone stations are located throughout campus. RUPD also provide a number of services to enhance your safety, including escort services on campus, to your vehicle, dorm room, or mode of public transportation.
