Adult Learners are typically lifelong learners who generally are 25 years or older, and/or have additional responsibilities such as family, career, military, or community, and are seeking a to complete a degree, earn a subsequent degree or other educational offering (credit or non-credit) to enhance their professional and/or personal lives.
Office of New Student Programs (ONSP) will offer several programs specific to adult learners to assist you in achieving your goals. We recognize the conflicting priorities, changes in teaching methodologies and even technology advances could create some bumps in your new journey and we are here to help! We recognize that you will need different support than our traditional students.
Our Welcome program will help you to establish connections, learn about services designed to help support adult learners and meet other new adult learners. Students attending this program must meet the definition of an adult learner and will not be required to attend Raptor Welcome.
*Please note that this program does not replace Orientations for special programs (Vets Orientation, TRio, Leadership Institute).
