What Is a Placement Exam?

Placement exams are designed to provide information about your skillset. We will use your results to place you in the appropriate level of math, English, or Foreign Language. These tests are important to your success at Rutgers, so please take them seriously and do your best independent work. Doing so will ensure that you begin studying at the right level to succeed in your classes. Your academic advisor cannot develop your schedule until you complete all required placement exams.
