The Rutgers University-Camden New Student Orientation Program is a dynamic and interactive set of sessions that provide essential information, introduce concepts of college culture, language, and expectations, and assist students in navigating buildings, services and resources available to them at Rutgers University-Camden. These programs include:
- Advising & Registration Program takes place after a student has accepted to the University and has completed all required placement tests. During this program, students will meet with an advisor, choose courses, and register for classes. Students will be notified via email of their assigned date (assignments may vary based on special programs).
- Raptor Welcome is the interactive mandatory on-campus orientation program for all new students that takes place in August. The program gives students a chance to meet their fellow Rutgers-Camden Raptors and participate in a variety of activities to prepare them for their college experience.
- Everfi Online Course, the mandatory comprehensive prevention program for new students. Everfi consist of three online courses, AlchoholEdu, Transit, and Haven which will educate students on alcohol abuse prevention, sexual assault prevention, and financial literacy. Students will also be required to complete the university online Academic Integrity Tutorial through sakai.
